More than half a million Americans experience homelessness each year. Despite seven years of steady progress and decline, the homeless population has now increased slightly for the second year running. Cities and social service agencies are struggling with how to reach and support people without stable housing and help them regain self sufficiency.
Could you find a job without a phone? Working with nonprofit partners, we’re using mobile to connect clients with support networks and access resources like health and education, housing and jobs, banking and finance, and family and friends.
And it works. With mobile access, people are better able to connect with support networks, apply for housing, access health case and get jobs.
