Roughly 30% of adults with annual household incomes below $30,000 don’t own a smartphone. Can you imagine contacting your friends and family, getting a job, or just getting around without one?

Talent is equally distributed. Opportunity is not

Even as technology becomes more affordable and internet access seems ubiquitous, a “digital divide” between rich and poor remains. The digital divide has far-reaching consequences when it comes to education and access to opportunity, especially for women, minorities and children.

Mobile with a mission

A portion of every sparrow monthly subscription goes towards digitally enabling someone in need via smartphones and data plans. We partner with amazing nonprofits and impact programs serving women, youth, homeless and refugees. Together, we’re creating digital access for under-served communities and a more inclusive world.
